In the construction phase of Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant, Hoang Thai Marine corporated with CK Construction and Trading Co.,Ltd to get participation as the contractor role of coal unloading jetty package.
Hoang Thai Marine’s contract was providing facilities, equipment and personnel for laying geotextile (about 17.000 m2), placing underwater stone (about 18.000m2) of the coal unloading jetty. Until May 15, 2020, Hoang Thai Marine reached 100% progress. More than 20 personnel attended site at any time, all operations were conducted without incident, and met the quality requirements to hand over to the Client.
Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant with a designed capacity of 1,200 MW, a total investment capital of nearly 2,79 million USD, located in Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa Province in north-central Vietnam. The project construction started in 2018 and is one of the very few coal-fired power plants in Vietnam using Ultra Supercritical technology (USC).
