On 16th August 2021, Hoang Thai has finished working its first Single Point Mooring (SPM) underwater maintenance service at SPM system of Nghi Son Refinery Petrochemical (NSRP) after one week staying offshore.
SPM is the import berth of NSRP in Nghi son, Thanh Hoa, Viet Nam. It is located 35 km offshore. SPM system is including a topside part containing mechanical, electrical & control systems, a subsea part containing two submarine hoses in Chinese lantern form together with pipeline end manifold (PLEM), an in-surface water part containing two 24’’ floating hoses and two lines mooring hawser systems. SPM is installed from 2015, until August 2021 it has received 100 VLCC safely.
Hoang Thai performs the work under the main contractor PTSC Thanh Hoa – the company responsible for the maintenance of NSRP’s SPM system and crude oil pipeline system. The main job is to inspect and maintain Mooring hawser system, Floating hoses system, Under buoy parts, Submarine hoses system from Pipeline end manifold (PLEM).
With the advantage of owning a team of professional divers and technicians, with full and modern equipment, the work was carried out smoothly accordance to the highest regulation from OGP & IMCA.
