Jetty Fenders routine maintenance and inspection is one of the key service that Hoang Thai provides to Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP) under the long-term contract “Inshore Under Water Inspection & Maintenance Service” signed in August 2021.
There are 48 fenders in NSRP Jetty, designed to withstand vessel tonnage from 15.000DWT to 40.000DWT. To use these facilities as a high-quality infrastructure that serves its daily protection purpose, proper inspection and maintenance is essential, primarily to its appurtenances. Hoang Thai’s work includes three inspection items: quarterly inspection, six-month inspection and twelve-month inspection.
The first diving inspection activities are commenced in the morning of September 3, 2021 and finished on September 6, 2021 for all components: chain system, rubber element, steel structure, and frontal frame facing panels. Hoang Thai also performed repair and cleaning deteriorated portions of the existing fender system, returned the fender system to its original condition.
